Lutherans believe in the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy communion, but we also recognize other meaningful milestones in our Christian life.
The Sacrament of Holy Baptism

Everyone is invited to celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Baptism! Instruction into the Sacrament is offered in the fall, winter, spring and late summer annually. At the class parents are instructed on what it means to be Lutheran and what it means to raise a child in the faith.
There is no charge for Baptism at Living Waters and you do not need to be members to have your child baptized!
E-mail the church office at office@livingwaterslutheran.org for more information.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion

All who desire to receive the gifts of grace, forgiveness and new life are welcome to come to the Lord’s Table.
Holy Communion instruction reminds us that Communion is a family meal for the family of Christ! Children often approach their first communion with excitement, curiosity and a whole lot of questions! What is communion? What does it mean? Who is welcome? Are we really eating Christ’s body and drinking his blood?
First Communion instruction is held annually (this year on March 14, 2020 from 9:30-11:30 am) This class is open to everyone first grade and older and a parent or guardian. Adults seeking to receive First Communion instruction or a refresher class are also invited.
E-mail the church office at office@livingwaterslutheran.org for more information or if you would like to register.
Affirmation of Baptism (Confirmation)
Though not considered a Sacrament in the Lutheran faith, Affirmation of Baptism is a time honored tradition, and an important step in a person’s faith journey. At Living Waters, the Rite of Affirmation of Baptism is celebrated in the fall of a student’s freshman year in high school following two years of instruction.
Email the church office at office@livingwaterslutheran.org for more information.

Funerals
One of the greatest acts of Christian service we can offer is the love and compassion of hosting a funeral service for you or your loved one. Pre-planning a funeral or memorial service can be incredibly helpful. If you are looking for guidance in planning a funeral please contact the pastor at pastor@livingwaterslutheran.org or e-mail the office at office@livingwaterslutheran.org.
You do not need to be members at Living Waters to have a funeral or memorial service with us.
