Stations of the Cross Interactive Experience
The Stations of the Cross refers to the practice of using various events in the final hours of Jesus’ life as a structure for prayer and meditation (also called the Via Crucis or The Way of the Cross). These events encompass Jesus’ journey from his entry into Jerusalem through his final meal with his disciples to his death on the cross. The Stations of the Cross is a liturgical way to reenact that journey as an act of devotion to God by remembering and confessing our own dependence upon God.
As you make this journey, don’t simply go through the motions and cross off your spiritual check list. Open your hearts and minds to God as we are led into communion with him. This practice is not just about the facts and details about the story. This journey opens our eyes, minds and hearts revealing Jesus’ true nature as he offers us the gift of forgiveness through the cross. In a real sense, the cross is about the power of love, the commitment of God to humanity, the faithfulness and grace of God that knows no limits. It’s a story which shows us how deeply loved we are by God.

Lent at Living Waters
God calls us to respond to our brothers and sisters in need with open eyes, hands, ears, hearts and our lives. In this Lenten Series we’ll explore how it came to be that it is not longer, “we who live, but Christ who lives in us”, and what it means to fully open our lives to God’s transforming love.
Join us on Sundays for Worship at 10am where we’ll begin our exploration of the theme, followed by Holden Evening Prayers on Wednesdays at 7pm, when we will take a more sensory approach to the theme.
